Easy release circle hook jigs

Thanks spring fever. The first ones I made with the circle hooks look real nice. If I can find a little bigger treble hooks like those ones off the p line jigs they will be sweet too. I find those hooks a tad small but just made em up to show not sure what size they are. I'm gona call around tomorrow. If anybody on the island wants any or any balls I'm heading to Vic on Friday but only Vic this time going to fish Hali for the first time out there Saturday and have a couple meetings. I find buying or making up custom style jigs and or anything yourself usually cost almost the same but the components are just way way better. Like when everybody swaps hooks out of the spoons. Just my opinion

So I see some are rigged with the hooks at the tai and some the hooks are at the head... I've never see them rigged upside down before. Is that common for the hali jigs? How effective is it?

Upside down works well, the hootchie undulates like a squid or octopus.
