Durance Lake Fishing

I just moved here from Ontario and I am looking for a good place to fish for some bass and trout, I have been reading that Durance is a good little lake. I also don't have a boat at the moment, so I need a lake where I can fish off the banks. Also, is there a restriction for barbless hooks on Durance.

Durrance is fishable from shore. Not sure on the regs. Also consider fishing the ocean from the breakwater.

langford lk or elk both have fishing docks, i think only barbless in rivers and streams
