hi i was at the store the other day and i saw a bunch of cannonballs
and i was wondering , what is the difference between the flat ones and
the round ones or the ones with the blade or the ones without?

flat ones will plane in a current sometimes way too much, round ones with no fin will spin,, round with some sort of blade is best IMO

If you fish quite deep say 200 ft the Flat ones with the metal can be turned into a left a right side by bending the blade appropriatly. This makes the ball" fly" out to each side so that the baits or lures are separated quite a bit more than they would be with an ordinary ball. Watch out for the turns!!!LOL
