If the fireworks fly horizontally, he'll block them from hitting you. If they go up as I expect they will, it shouldn't be a problem to see them. He's a member here, BTW.
Haha thats DAve
If he was in your way say something, but looks like he's left you enough room, and I'm sure alit more will arrive yet,
its not like your anchored up for hali with a ton of rode out theres only 40-50'
Relax and enjoy the show its always great
Not seeing a huge problem. Don't see any other boats in the picture so cant say how close he is to you but like others say fireworks are in the air can't see anyone blocking the view of the show. If someone drops anchor so close that the boat touch then I got a problem but if not have fun and enjoy the show and be safe after the show heading home.

There aren't any other boats in the pic because be pulled in front of all of us, and the buoys.
It's just an attitude of showing up last and going to the front.
Like you said, he's looking up so there's no problem being respectful and going behind and finding a spot.
Anyway, the port authority eventually made him move back so I suppose it worked out
So thre is a set of bouys that let you know where the forward limit that you are allowed to be? And that boat is local and well known?Everybody else was staying back of the markers? Sounds like it's festival anchoring, and he wanted to be on the stage in front of the speakers. He eventually got caught and moved to the back though, probably had burning ears for a bit too.
No just kidding around, sorry to have offended you. There was plenty of room where I set up problem was my anchor wasn't holding very well at all and drifted over the line before being made to move back a little.
