Do anybody troll with baited lures?

@adanac Thanks, that looks like a plan! I will have to find a source for them, I'm guessing I'll have to buy from Canada or the US, they have some Gamakatsu hooks in Norway, but not that one. I did find it on eBay, of course with hysterical shipping for a small envelope. But in Norway we call that "boat money", anything you put or use in a boat is expensive. But again, just to make sure, what size should I get for my fishing, up to 10 kilos? I have found from 1/0 and up to 4/0.

Easiest way I’ve found is pre buying some Gamakatsu assist hooks and looping them on themselves on the bend of the hook .

buy this. now: pass the hook point thru the pre-made loop, this will form a new loop. drop this new loop over the large jig head. i prefer the hook point upwards.

Why don't you run a small mackeral in a super sized herring teaser-no flasher. It worked wonderfly well for many species in Saudi Arabia when I lived there. They are very light to mail and you rig them yourself. Still works here just a bit "old school"
