No one at the cleaning yesterday morning..not a sole on a sunday morning!

For all us reading and following this tread,it's been tough on a lot of people. All if not most have set-up their vacation time well in advance[dog in a kennel, the one kid that is gonna stay at so- an- sos because they are rotten teenager, and the list goes on and on] Oh ..who is going to feed the cats?? Well as I see it that Sockeye sport fishery involves so much more than just moorage, tides, weather. Now the nets come in to play and no one but the DFO knows when they will open it to make the commies happy.......So, add the last variable in to the mix and it becomes feast or famin. Only the lucky locals and other V.I. boats can time their fishing to it. Sad but it's the it is.

I believe this year has been especially bad and Port Albernie will suffer for the next few. I won't go back and I'm sure others I tell won't think of going either. There are way too many other places to fish.

Disgusting...time for some of us 'sportfishermen' to consider running for office. I am now convinced that is our only avenue as everything else has fallen on deaf ears.
