DFO model for consultation is broken back East too!

It would appear that various levels of DFO consultation processes are broken! How then can we expect anything positive to happen within the confines of our fisheries. People of all walks and many sectors are finding similar problems with DFO and their processes.

A person who has spent decades working with the groundfish industry has told the Fisheries Resource Conservation Council (FRCC) that the Department of Fisheries and Oceans’ model for consultation is broken and in many respects is nothing more than mouth service.

Hey Ding Dong!

This sounds like they're taking lessons from the Americans.

Obahma mentioned something about how their Salmon are managed by one federal department when they're in salt water, and the department of the interior when in fresh water. He said it gets even more complicated once they're smoked!

There's nothing like adding poor communication and confusion to get the job done.
