So I plan on finally getting out this weekend. Just want to know if their is anywhere online where I can find a depth chart for Cowichan Bay. Just going to do a bit of crabbing and prawning for now and run the boat.

so, help me out with the mapster - what the heck you selecting to get anything useful? Can't get anything helpful myself and the topo surfaces black out as you zoom in, and don't seem to show much zoomed out. Does it have contours for the great blue sea?

On the top click on the blue button "add chart". Then follow the directions on the side and use the chart tool, then choose a chart to look at.

As Salmon 9 said, watch the tide level for launch and return.
I don't like anything less than 1.5 meters on the table for the launch ramp.
Bucky's in Duncan has the paper charts. Should be aboard anyway.
Have fun.
