Deep Water Transducer

Hey Guys

I would like to add a deep water transducer to my boat for black cod fishing. I currently have a P66 which seems to max out at about 950-1000ft. Does anybody have a recommendation for a transducer which can reach 2000ft and is Lowrance compatible?

2k feet at high rez means something like a airmar R599LM with high power.
its a chunk of change too but it will give you good detail down to 2500' or so.

What Lowrance device do you have?? Transom mount, thru hull or in hull???

You will be looking for a 1kw minimum transducer. If you want Chirp that adds cost. Airmar makes the good stuff and there site is awesome. A 1kw low frequency transducer will find the bottom for you but finding fish at that depth might take more power. But need to now your sounder capability before picking a transducer.

have a pair of SS-264's ..... 200 is the sought after wide and the 50 will get you down deep .....in the for sale section ...
