Deep bay boat launch

hey guys,

Quick question since were talking about deep bay? There web site says no launching under a 3’ tide. I was there on Friday to look at the ramp and the tide was around 15’. It looked like you would have to back your truck in past the front tires to launch...

What are good tides to launch there? I have a 26’ boat. It says they launch 30’plus boats there.

Thanks

30ft ??? I doubt it !!! Go to French Creek and dont risk screwing your boat up. I have a shallow draft 20 ft tinny and on a low tide like 4 ft, I have to keep a pole handy to get off the mud. And its a very narrow channel too.

it’s a very old school launch designed when everyone had car toppers and tinnys. i had a hell of a time launching based on the wheel base of my truck and the random parking jobs of some people. as mentioned the channel is super narrow as well.
