Days on the water

Wondering what some of the counts might be...

Reflecting now that the new season is upon us and it turns out there were 198 for me. Not all were full days, but thats how many I got to go and float sweet mother ocean...

Except, one of those days was on a lake in Alberta!!

What's your count?

Ya got me beat Jeff, i figger about 130 days for me a year
give or take a few

Under half of that for me. Id like it to be more, but with 4 kids and a second career, Im happy with that.

Gotcha SMOKED even if we only consider the chuck Buddy! And were we to toss in the freshwater days, it would be a LOT easier to count the days off the water, not on! [^]

Nice start though! Given where you live, there is some likelihood you'll eventually catch up If I retire that is... [^]

I fish the Fraser just about exclusively..... usually get 50-60 days a season...... never have counted the actual days though!

How many days are you guys fishing for fun or for business???

Around 20 days last year.

Since moving back to the Island, I have fished a total of 2 days in Aug. Wifes sister's wedding two years ago took away three weekends and last year was fighting fire for 24 days in Aug.

I hope to add the month of Aug to this year and get in a few more days.

Trying to do the honey to do list so that I can get out in WH in May and try for some of those early Columbians. Painting the inside of the house, paint the new shed I just finished and moving the garden all need to be done in three weeks or so.

And she is going fishing tomorrow......

Oh she just phoned ...again..to rub it in

I told her that the list was getting shorter and that in May, the boat will be in WH whether she is in it or not.....

Actually the fishing was my idea and she and her GF from university are really looking forward to it. Inshore trip with sight fishing in 10' of water, 7' trout roads and 10 lbs test line. They were told to expect between 30-40 fish each for the day. Pretty cool trip.
