Cutting frozen fillets

The lodge I was at flash froze our salmon (and Hali) fillets. The pieces are too big. Does anyone have a good method of cutting frozen fillets? None of our salmon were under 20#'s, so the pieces are thick.

Years ago we had the same problem and used a saw-all with a new blade. Have heard of guys using a band saw as well.

We have a regular meat band saw. Works great. One of our friends used a miter saw last year. We weren't there, but he said it worked fine, just a little messy. Do you have any butcher shops around that process big game?

you can use a meat band saw, (they are about 400 dollars, at Summit tools.)
Or a regular band saw. clean up everything after, like blade, pulleys, etc.
Stores; we had a pair of frozen tuna cut up by a butcher, at the Lonsdale Quay a few years ago.

I take my fish to the local butcher shop for them to cut them into meal size pieces with their band saw. They cut, wrap, and vacuum seal it so it stays fresh till next fishing season. I cant remember the cost but it was more than reasonable.
