If it has under 4.5 stars on amazon be very afraid. I always look for the worst reviews, as tons are fake and some things the reviews are actually for a different model.

Annoyed

1.0 out of 5 stars Flimsy and annoying

This did not meet expectations at all. It was damaged (possibly used?) right out of the box, but we didn’t have time to return and reorder another one. The flame has two settings: full bore, and off, attempting to adjust the flame via the supposed adapter just leads to the flame going out. This is obviously a problem when you need the oil to hold at a particular temperature. The coating on the pot holder crumbled off after five minutes of use, leaving ugly chunks of bare metal exposed. The pot has “burn” marks on the bottom where it sat on the holder, it looks like the aluminum is compromised (pot was filled with water prior to being put on the burner, it was never heated empty). The stand is very flimsy and wobbly, and felt like it would fall over at any point (not a good thing when dealing with a vat of hot oil and an open flame…)

Overall we are very disappointed in this purchase, and feel like it was wasted money.

The regulator is not working and can't get gas to come to unit

This works well, with adjustable flame. Fish, partial reduction of maple syrup , and lead so far.
You could source a bigger pot and gadgets for turkey, but the diameter needs to fit inside the welded ring on the cooker. ( or weld on a bigger ring).

Well that's a steal as well. I wonder where it's made lol 😉

That vevor one is a pretty regular price on those things. I guess you get an extra basket and pot. But it’s not really a screaming deal. I think I paid like $70 for mine at Canadian tire. All you need is a sale

I like the whiskey ball ice makers.
FU I loved my last sip 8 years ago. I think this Christmas I will give the last of my booze away including the rest of that bottle.

Back on topic. https://amzn.to/41yINEo # ad I’d recommend these eco-worthy batteries for trailers and small on land solar. I’ve had one in my truck camper and just bought my second $250 with the $50 off coupon that Amazon served up for me.

For boat house batteries I’d go with something with an IP rating of 65 or more.

I have the Big Easy oiless infrared turkey cooker ( which also cooks chicken , roasts etc,) I have it sitting in a yard cart and can roll it out when needed. Its much quicker than an oven--WAY safer than oil and puts a nice crust on the skin but juicy inside. Highly reccomend it.
If I remember correctly it was around $250 minus the propane bottle

20 years ago for me. I was single malt / red wine drinker.

I gave away the open bottles of scotch and sold all the unopened stuff (scotch and wine) to still drinking friends at 50 % of the then current retail prices.
