Cracked Floor

Hi, new to me boat and I am curious how these cracks in the floor look? Is it normal to see this or should I start planning repairs? I am hoping to cover up with some sealant and leave them as is for a while. The small cracks on the port side appear to run along the stringer. Overall the floor seems very solid. The large crack picture appears to be related to the aluminum seat box.

cracks where prawn davit meets floor.

First picture is most likely is soft wood in the floor. Hourston never sealed that with glass and years of moisture has gotten in. I would say all the cracks are from moisture really. Original floor had a vinyl material on it and that was pulled up and painted and or gel coated. They only put a light layer of glass down from factory as the vinyl was the seal.
Ultimately the fix is to pull the floor, adding sealant will not really do much. If it is not soft I wouldn't worry about it as the floor replacement is a big job. You could put Kiwi grip down to cover it up and add more time before you need to replace.
You will get a couple more years from it hopefully.

Yeah that is basically what I figured, and the price was right. I believe the floors and stringers were redone or worked on when the pod was installed. The rear transom and stringers forming the bilge look strong.

The floor is not that bad, removing all the seats if the pain and the what am I going to find is the worst part. Great boats

Thanks. I'm 100% a dont fix it till its broken kinda guy so will wait till it gets soft before doing the work. You're in a great area btw, have had some great fishing out of Schooner Cove.

It has been a great year and love where I am. However I miss Campbell River. Was there for 20 plus years and loved it. Great fishing, north and south of town and only an hour to hold river.
If you wanted an intern fix you could park the boat in a shed and let dry, sand the floor with 80 grit and put a couple layers of 1708 glass mat down. Bit a lot of work and itchy
