Guy down the street has a live well sitting on his dock where he keeps live crab . Is that permitted ? If so would be be allowed to keep 8 per licence in the well??? Seems odd to me…
Check all your gear carefully and remove and release all bycatch: You must release incidental catch alive, to the place where you caught it, in a way that causes the least harm to the fish
In theory we can keep them alive until we get home, so why couldn't you keep them alive at the dock as well?
Never seen it, seems weird................but might be OK?
Guy at Burrard used to keep a commercial trap full of crab at the dock. They were all smalls too. He got reported and booted from the marina. He used a Seadoo with a custom arch on it and had it dialed like a business. He now has two of them and they're in his back yard right by my place. Works in the movies and seemingly has enough money but still poaches crab.
You can do this as long as it’s at your permanent residence. You can have your possession limit for as many residents at the house my buddy got checked with his and all was good .
