Counter or standard

Ok so the skinny boat came with twin 250s but both were standard rotation 1lower unit has calfed and needs replace stay the same or switch to counter rotation.

Counter and standard pair do track better, however there is nothing wrong with running 2 right hand imo. Especially when you adjust the little trim tabs under the cavitation plate. Right hands are easier to get if you need to replace one, and they are easier to rebuild. They stand up better because they have less parts then counter cases. Counter cases have a 2 piece prop shaft. So a little more things to wear and tear.

Counter is better - tracks straight and better control when using your engines to pivot/steer the boat when docking.
