color fishing lines?

I am just wondering if anyone have different colors than green or blue lines... The tackles stores have some nice colors fishing lines such as Yellow, Orange, Red, Neon Blue, Florescent green or etc

I know lot of salmon anglers like to choice Barkley Green line and Maxmia green/ tan line.

Do salmon can see color lines?
I am thinking about I will take my two mooching reel need to fill up fishing line.

They leader is the one that matters to the fish. The mainline on your reel is bright if you choose so the angler can see it in better.

Gotta agree, don't think it makes a difference. Having one rod with blue and one with green makes tangles easier to deal with - but then again its way faster to just cut and re-tie

unless of course, the lines cross over well pulling on a double header then 2 different colours make a difference.....

also depends on your eyes too. I have a dark green and blue. I can make them out way behind the boat. I watch for those tights circles so I know when my flasher is going to pop out of the water. My bf cant see it so im getting a reel for him with hi vis yellow so hopefully a little easier to see.

I got rid of the dark green braid and switched to red for 25 lb, blue for 30lb and white for 50lb. You can see them all better and I didn't notice any diff in the catch rates.

Which color do you think is the most visible to the fisherman (under the broadest range of conditions)? I tend to buy yellow or green but that's simply because that's what I can easily find in the store.

Any colour lines seems to be seen well by other fishermen so long as the end of the spool has a shotgun attached! lol

I will make decided what colour line on my two reels to use my a pair of fen wick rods!
