Coho clipping at Jack Brooks (SSE)

I am unlikely to be able to stay all day ... as I will have my kids with me and they won't last more than a few hours. If there's more volunteers than can fit, it might be ideal to arrange a couple of shifts....more hands means lighter lifting for all.

One crew starts at 9, one crew replenished at lunch time maybe? Or too logistical? (you engineers can draw a gantt diagram or something ;))

Well, i'd say determine true final count thou to see if that is something SSE would even consider - I've organized enough poker games to know you invite 20 to get 10, so hopefully the few maybes here confirm yes or no and we can see where we are really at. I'm sure they could easily arrange a 1 for 1 tagoff for whoever can only do part day. (ie, u do morning shift and dohboy tags off at lunch so he gets to sleep-in :D)

I can make it on Saturday, About bloody time I had a day off anyhow.
Let me know if its a "for sure" deal otherwise i'll drag the boat out and start cleaning her up.
Dan.

I have to work this saturday, but if there are any other weekends I will come and bring my son so he can help and see what happens in a hatchery

ok - we've got enough as the hatchery has 8 or 9 of their regulars committed and Mel said 8 or 9 more would be great. As I have it:

me
chris73
Smiley
JDS part day
Dohboy x2
LC x2
Danthewire

If you guys are confirmed, we are good to go!

Dohboy
I am good for the morning on Saturday until 12:30-1:00 and will drum up someone else.
Do you want to catch some sleep and split the day with me?

Or JDS if your kids are better for 1/2 day. Same goes.

I will be there at 9:00 am and can switch off at the gate after noon.

Also surprised by the lack of interest in voluteers. Lots of members on this site. [V]

Tips

Tips...that might work pretty well for me. My gals will tolerate a few hours, but not a full day, and afternoon is probably just as good as morning. Maybe switching off then is the go?

Right now, it sounds like there are potentially more volunteers than spots at 9 am ... would hate to have guys standing around. An afternoon shift to fill in for tired and cold hands is probably a good thing??

Thanks,Yeah I saw that link and looked at it, Is it marked Butler main ? Or are there signs to the hatchery, If so i'll find it.
Just don't want to end up lost.
Dan

The gate to the logging road to the hatchery is usually locked so please be there at 9 AM sharp. Better a few minutes earlier than later.
