I like the Canadian date. Keeps Thanksgiving more about family and a good meal than buying **** we don’t need, and it spaces out the holidays more. Jamming it all in at the end of the year seems too chaotic.
I can’t stand the excess consumerism. I’m pretty good at avoiding it for the most part.
