I was reading the thread on killfish.ca about nanaimo fishing and they were discussing the stomach contents of their latest catches. Everything from varying sizes of herring to squid and krill, to now the latest, some kind of eel? One fellow says that the eel is an immature wolf eel. Has anyone ever noticed this before? What are your thoughts??? Mason

lots of eel pouts around........ could be them

.... was trying to find a pic of the ones around here but there are too many kinds of them. The ones we would gillnet dragging shrimp were about 6 inches, light brown/greenish with a white belly. perfect size for a spring yap too [8D]

Was a commercial fisherman many years ago. We did see some springs with eels in them , they usally puked them up on the deck, some were over 12 inchs so I am thinking wolf eels.
