LOL...Yes, even in the 1980's seals were an issue. That was the beginning to where we are now, today. In the 1970's there were mass campaigns set forward by Green Peace to end the seal hunt which in the end changed how commercial fishing industry managed apex predators that effected salmon fishing. This, but there are also so many other factors that play into salmon abundance.
Charlie was one of many, many mentors that carried heavy influence over my life long passion for fishing. I always enjoy watching his and so many other iconic movers that helped shape our sportfishing industry into the legacy that it is and always will be known as.
