It's almost time folks, just a few more days until the Alpine JDF Fishing Tournament! Last chance to get your ticket is by 9pm on Saturday night, at the registration event at the Langford Legion (from 4-9pm Saturday!). You can get them online now, will share the direct link HERE! Or call the number on the poster above!

$20K first prize, top 10 fish all get cash prizes, and we are ever so grateful to the wonderful local sponsors who have stepped up to support this phenomenal event! Join the Facebook Tournament Page for most up-to-date information! Remember, weigh station is at Pedder Bay! Full rules etc are all on the Official Tournament Webpage!

Look forward to seeing you all out on the water and at the weigh station with the big catches!

It is between Sep. 7 between 4-9 pm at the Langford Legion. If you bough a ticket you should get an email with all the details for the reg. night and derby. If not go to the SVIAC website and go to the derby page and you'll find info there.

Tomorrow's the big day! See you on the water, and don't forget, Registration Night tonight at the legion! Last chance to get tickets is by 9pm tonight! And Good luck to all participants!

Check out their website.
It was slow and only few springs were caught. Derby came 2 weeks to late - fish wise. But, lots of tickets sold, few fish caught = great conservation event!
Winner was 22.35 lbs

I don’t see any updates on their website or Facebook Hoping to see leaderboard, raffle winners and 50/50.
Will this be posted?
@SVIAC ?

Hey guys, most of the pics etc were posted first and foremost to the Tournament Facebook Page, not direct on SVIAC - trying to keep it all in that one place, but valid points, we'll get some shared over to SVIAC too. The leader board above is accurate! Link is below for that page.

The raffle ticket and 50/50 results are posted there as well, and winners have been or will be contacted directly.

Great fun was had, there were in fact 56 weighed in, quite a few were whites, but definitely had to show patience and persistence.

Most importantly, $59K was raised for the Chinook Salmon Enhancement Initiative. Thank you so much to all of the participants, the incredible sponsors, and our volunteers for making that happen! Watch for next year's event to be even better, lots of good things to take forward from here!
