CC Aluminum - must haves

I don't get water in the back of my BV18EXT. Maybe I haven't had it loaded up at the back with people though.

Likely the benefits of the full width hull extension instead of just a standard pod off the back.

PS - those Bridgeviews are great boats. I used to see one down at False Creek marina that I'd droll over before i got my Jasper.

Is that your Jasper at the same marina?

No - I think that one is a twin engine hardtop (very nice boat)? When Jasper first started building (Around 2017ish?) he started with a line of 18ft open centre consoles (I saw one of his early ones a few weeks ago up in Okeover Inlet/Desolation Sound). I think he only built a few, but they got nicer and nicer (added pod/swim grid, T-top, glass console, transom door, etc.). I think mine was the last of this first generation and was built in 2019 - I believe it was made for a former member on the site.

He makes really great boats - very high quality fabrication/welding with a lot of thoughtful features. I've been through my boat pretty extensively, and aside from very minor commissioning (motor height was all wrong) the work stands up really nicely. The only thing I've done to the boat is weld on a kicker bracket and an additional bow cleat.
