just wondering if anyone knows a good place to try and catch some herring from shore around the campbell river area, any help would be appreciated thanks !
They seem to hang around somewhat, really cannot answer your question, but, if you go there when it is dark, you can see them in the lights shining in the water from the pier. Also will tell you the ice cream served by Ben is awesome. ......BB
i went down there today for a little look saw some small ones breaking surface...think u might go down there after it gets dark and try a herring jig...also does anyone ever catch decent bottomfish from the pier or just salmon mostly
