Carpet vs Marine Vinyl

Curious on opinions on carpet vs marine vinyl on the interior cabin of the Osprey I'm rebuilding. Seems like marine vinyl would be much easier to clean and dry out, but most of the material I've found is very thin and wouldn't hide a lot of the bumps and irregularities on the the walls.

Was thinking of keeping carpet on roof just for condensation purposes and non drip. Front cubby will be carpet. I do have a diesel heater going in as well.

eva foam beats everything.
No way.

I am so skeptical of eva foam flooring....seems like the edges start peeling after a few years and it can look really lousy really quick.

For covering the insides of the cabin I'd use a marine carpet product. Should help with sound damping a bit too.
