We managed a 14 lb marble this morningabout 8:30 off the green marker on bottom, nice bright fish. Brining for the smoker now! Good little scrap but nothing else to talk about. Saw one lost, know of two others lost and heard of one lost to a seal, not great though!

Jimbo, Scotty thanks for the report

Whats working? Bait, hoothcies, spoons?

I am hoping to get out monday evening. Lots of work to get done in the morning, motivated to be fishing the high slack

Any cohoes showing up?

Anchovy was the ticket on bottom. No coho Mabe we will have more fresh fish rolling in??

Good job Jimbo, I plan on heading out tomorrow. Everything I've caught out there was at the bottom by the marker with chovies as well. Were you using flashers on the lines or dummy flashers on the riggers? 6' leaders?

Anchovies for me as well, tried a few other things and had no luck. As for depth, close to bottom green/glow flasher on rigger with a 6' leader. We caught a very nice coho 2 weeks ago, so they were out there.

vancouver, british columbia

We picked ours up on a chovy/flasher with a 4ft leader actually, nada on the 6ft. Dunno if that made a difference but that was the combo, green/gold teaser head.Good luck!

Guess I'm a bit different in that I caught mine on 5" herring in an army truck with a green/UV flasher about 20 feet up from bottom. (90feet down in 110ft water)

Maybe I just got lucky. My last trip out I ran anchovies with green glow flashers right at bottom and got nothing.

Never made it out salmon fishing last evening. Work took longer that hoped. Did a short trip for crab. We got 5 keepers with the salmon carcasses.

Sure would like to be out today or tomorrow. [8D]
