Canucks

I liked Salo. Fairly injury prone, though, but a hell of a point shot!! I would have thought he'd retire this year, but I guess
he hasn't made enough money yet LOL.

Ill miss Salo i was pretty choked when I heard he was leaving. I guess I was just assuming that he was going to resign no matter what. He was a big part of the team and will be missed by everyone. He was possibly one of the classiest guys to ever play in the organization and i see a ring of honour induction in his near future.

It will be interesting moving forward with garrison as he has only really had one productive season in the NHL playing with one of the best puckmoving D in the league and to sign such a large(and long) contract based on one years production is a pretty big risk. I am also Intrigued to see Tanev in a larger role as i think he could become a fixture in the lineup. Im hoping Leaky Luu will be packaged with Raymond and something else for a 2nd line playmaker for Kesler

I liked salo too but it has run its course we need more tougher D men on the blue someone Doughty like player with grit and heart and on the edge who is a play maker. And sounds like Kes wont be back until novemeber so thats going to be tough void to fill this will be some trying times for the nuks hopefully they can move lou get a GOD d-man and a left wonger and a stable centre THEN we may have a chance...

Guys. I personally know Jason Garrison. He was a Nanaimo Clipper and billeted with a buddy of mine. Great kid and has done nothing but improve every year. Last year we went and watched Florida play in Vancouver and went downstairs to see him after the game. He was wearing this big fancy watch and my buddy asked him about it. He said the Panthers gave it to him for being the fittest player at training camp that year. He has an awesome work ethic and a big booming slap shot. He took less money to play in Vancouver as that is where he wants to be. I look forward to watching him play live a lot this year. I watched about a dozen of Florida's games on TV last year had he doesn't make many mistakes. I look to him to be a contributor. Cheers
