In my opinion Buffalo was the better team but poor shooting % did them in. Team Canucks were resilient and made good on their opportunities. Hughes, Lankinen and Garland outstanding again, Desharnais our Oilers castoff was dreadful. Off to Detroit for a 9:30 am start so don’t know what to expect.

None of them are gone long enough to do that. And bettman would somehow find a way to fine the Canucks for doing it while letting it slide for everyone else lol

this. this is the shared attitude and sentiments from long suffering Canucks fans.
it still boggles my mind Canucks were the only team that had to endure that stupid Luongo “cap recapture penalty after all those other players like Hossa ( who apparently had itchy skin) and others just faded into the shadows…

That's some of how I think; an athlete with that much time off has a good chance of re-injuring themself early and never coming back we've seen it time & time again.
I haven't been able to watch a game for a couple of weeks so last night was my first in a while ... , without Hronek they are atrocious at getting the puck out of their own zone ( and really missing just one guy shouldn't have that much effect ), which is killing their offensive flows , Hughes and Garland offensively and no one else , Boeser has disappeared again , Petterson well thats another story , tough to watch

Peterrson has 21 pts in his last 15 games .......
Ya on pace for 82 points or something like that , he's a feast or famine kind of player , for 11.6 M i'd like more consistency thats all , or at least the appearance of being dangerous when he's on the ice

Best game they have put together all year !! is this the same team?? Man Garland and Hughes have such a work ethic-they always come to play and Lankinen--what a steal-going to be a lot more expensive next year--what he needed a stage to show what he could do. Good on him!!
