poor performance all around last night. Time to move on to the next game . Hopefully they do better on Saturday against the sharks

I don’t know what is wrong with Petterson but it’s a serious issue. Not sure if it’s physical like his knees issue or wrist or if it’s psychological. Could be all of the them.
First off his skating isn’t great which could be his knees or his conditioning.
Secondly, he’s not shooting the puck like he used to. No blazing one timers or quick deceptive wristers. It could be a wrist issue as he’s suffered from that in the past.
Thirdly, he has no passion. He acts like a robot. No smiling or happiness and definitely no angry in your face passion. Could have some depression issues. It’s all a vicious circle.
Last item, stop the goofy turning your butt into the opposition with the intent of looking like you’re body checking. If you’re going to hit someone do it like you mean it and put your shoulder into them and drive with your legs. At least it would get your teammates fired up and the fans.
Right now he sure looks like a terrible waste of money and I’m sure the teammates are thinking the same thing.

My buddies and I call him "Becel" as he is as soft as margarine and butter in general... trade him out before hes even older and more useless

Solid win last night and Hughes 3 assists #3 all time . Historic moment for the franchise, right behind Orr and Leetch. I always thought Pavel Bure was our best ever but he’s now got company. TSN barely a mention, could you imagine if someone like Reilly had accomplished the same. Only in Leaf land. LOL.

Way too easy for the Oilers, lots of off nights especially Miller and Lankinen. Edmonton got momentum on a couple of questionable calls and non calls, so game over.
I see Silvos, Bains and Aman sent down to Abby and Lekkerimaki called up along with goalie Ty Young. I guess this means Joshua is ready and Demko is close.

Painfully embarrassing, so easy for the injury riddled Islanders. 5 shots on home ice after 2 periods. Felt for the fans that paid to watch such a sad effort. There is nothing to be learnt from this effort as this poor home ice play as been evident all season. They were lucky against a tired Calgary team whom by the way play a strong team game with few stars. This is on the coaches as well for not calling a timeout when it was very evident the team was still at the country club. Out coached by Roy tonight no question.
