Sad to see it leave. alot of good times were generated on that boat. great video's! love the drone work. will open up and make a nice view for the hotel guests I would think.

I watched the Canucks **** away game 7 of the 2011 cup final in the saloon on that old girl. Memorable but not for great reasons.

Will be odd driving through town with it gone. Hopefully the new owners invest some money into the remaining infrastructure. Will also be interesting to see if more dock space will be made available or if it will all be used for the new operation?

We had a hot little thing table dancing in her bra and panties in the tavern abbord the princess lol. Lots of memories there. Another time my buddy Tim fell out of the top bunk and broke his face on the bottom bunk lol! Ouch!

Kind of sad to see a piece of BC history like that boat getting sent off for scrap. Being reporposed for use as a reef would at least see the old girl spend the rest of her days locally for the fish and our local divers to enjoy. Too bad, if it is truly just going to be melted down.

Had some great family experiences there, loved it! My first ocean fishing trip. First salmon and halibut for both my wife and me. Took our kids for their first experience, son who just turned 11 caught, with help, a tyee! My brothers and I took our dad out for our last fishing trip together. He passed a few years later. Was a great place, motivated me to purchase my own place and boat which has led to 10 years of fun! Great staff, crews and restaurants, will miss it.
