Thanks Ryan. I appreciate the help. I had not seen this one before.Possibly a Game Guide ?
This plug appears to be a Martin model KS. Possibly post WWIiHere is one I've been wondering about... anyone know how old it is and what brand it might be?
This one appears to be a Sparx 1940's though early 1960's.And another....
I'd like to give this one a clear coat of something to protect/seal the wood and re hook it. Then give it a try. Any recommendations on what to use ?This one appears to be a Sparx 1940's though early 1960's.
Wash it really good with mild unscented liquid soap. Rinse really, really well in luke warm water. let dry for 48 hours. You need to be very careful with your choice of spray clears as some paints don't play nicely together. Hense I will not suggest a spray unless it is a uv cure. You could test a simial crappy plug prior to application with any clear to see how it reacts. If it's good on the crappy one, it will probably be fine on the good one.I'd like to give this one a clear coat of something to protect/seal the wood and re hook it. Then give it a try.
