Campion gas fill cap

I have seen this issue on many Campions. The white flip up gas fill lid loses its ability to stay closed. I have looked at perko, Atwood, sea dog, etc.

None of these would appear to work.

With all the Campion owners on here, this must have been remedied somehow.

What have people done?

I ordered a new kit from Campion and replaced the whole fuel filler neck and cap together. Needed a bit of retrofitting to get the new one into my 2005 but it worked very well. You may want to call Galleon in Richmond and go from there.

Do you know the make of the fuel cap? I am trying to find a replacement after some thieves broke mine as they couldn't work out how to open it when trying to steal fuel!

Unfortunately not. I have looked through all the main marine catalogs and could not find a match.

I realize this is an old post but I have just lost my gas cap from my campion 552. Is there a easy install replacement available or is the exact one still produced? Mine is the white snap down style pictured above.
