Campbell River Pink Salmon Fishing

Me and few buddies want to go down to campbell river from vancouver to catch some Pink Salmon. we are noobs but apparently few guys have told me there is plenty of pinks in the rivers to catch. i was wondering is this true?? and what types of lures/ bait should we be using?? yesss we are Noobs at this salmon fishing stuff[8D]

Lots of Pinks in the river. Best bet is for you and your friends if you come to Campbell River, is to drop into either Tyee Marine, or River Sportsman for the best up to date info.....BB

Dude, there are lots of pinks around CR right now and they are being taken in the river and off the pier. Good advice to check with the local sport stores for advice on tackle etc.
