Burn Barrel

In this age of political correctness I hesitate to ask but where does one pick-up a 55 gal drum to use as a Burn Barrel??

Hey anyone know where one can get a plastic one for washing your engines

I got one at ABC recycling in Campbell River. Pretty much any big logging outfit should have some around even if you had to pay the deposit.

SF, we made one last year out of a old dryer tub, it was the best burn barrel ever.
The tub was very thick and won't burn out as fast as a 45g drum.

Thanks guys-great help-found one---now to improve my carbon footprint LOL!! Guess we better get out the popcorn after that remark!

nah... your carbon neutral if you're just cleaning up the yard from the winter kill. Unless you're burning coal for fun.....

My coal burning for fun days are long since past--best I can do is a campfire with a shot or 2 of scotch -that about pegs my fun meter!!
