Building up for coho fun this year...

I have to send out another special thanks to my pal Bill Campbell at RE-PEETZ for another successful refurbished rod job. Bill has done up five different personal rods for me now. Three OG Lamiglas in various models and lengths, all honey's and two prototype rods that have worked out perfectly for potential production run, Lamiglas again. I'm a huge fan of old school fiberglass, one of the reasons I cherish HARDY rods so much as well.

All I can say is thank you once again Bill. Amazing work. The before and after is so sick...you'd almost believe the refurbished rods were brand new.

More in line to come your way soon.

This is a 7ft two peice paired up with a 4 inch PEETZ Evolution reel. It's primarily intended for coho, but maybe the odd iconic summer Chinook battle or two or three. You never know what the lottery will pay out on until that reel starts to scream.

If you are looking to have a rod redone, I truly recommend that you contact Bill to see if he can help.

I am supposed to be shedding my classic gear...I just could not resist...

Today's treasure find...
8ft Custom Dyna Glass build using HARDY Fibatube blank. Rod built in Vancouver, BC.

Called the "Rivers Inlet Special" I married it to my favorite PEETZ 5 inch Classic reel.

If anyone is interested, I have a Fibatube listed on Marketplace in Alberni.
Now for sale after buying a pair of 1010s ;-)
I have a few 1010 rods left, great rods. I sold a bunch a while back, How are you and your son enjoying them so far?

What are the specs on the Fibatube?

Lamiglas and HARDY based glass is all I care about. Being that HARDY made Fibatube the quality is generally long lasting.
I found a nice pair of Lamiglas two pcs 7 footers. Both the same action, a little heavier than the first one I got done in the post above. These two would be great for chinook and maybe cross over for jigging. We'll see how I feel after they are redone and out fishing for a day or so on them. They feel good in the workshop. :)
