Building Prawn traps Questions

Hey guy's

After losing my prawn traps, I have been thinking about building my own, I was wonderring if any of you have an opinion on the optimum tunnel angle, end of tunnel opening height and tunnel mesh sizing. for optimum catch results.

if you are bent on doing that, i would buy 1 of the best out there, a square bauer (tried and true) and copy it the best i could.

I fished with a guy who had made one out of pvc pipe looked and fished really well it was around 4 feet long and had two openings if i remember right. The big benefit to this trap was the ease at which it was to retrieve it, the rope was affixed to only one end and it came up with little resistance.

I tossing around an idea similar to that, I will post my design once it's done. I am targeting a price under 20bucks
