I was looking for storage and raised the floor around the the cab and was still able to walk around still and this added some strength.

I have a Jasper Marine, 3/16 bottom with a welded centre keel and full egg crate/boxed hull - no spray foam. It also rides loud - in decent chop every wave can sound like the beat of a drum. I think the noise is just what you get when there is no spray foam - I'm sure 1/4" bottom plate would help with the noise. I don't see any way of addressing it other than spray (which has its own issues)

That’s cool, I’ve been trying to figure out a better seating set up for mine.

That’s nice for more storage! It’s pretty limited on these boats.

What seats did you end up using?

I have been trying to figure out a better seating setup for mine. Perhaps a bench/leaning post or something like yours with a couple shockwave suspension seats.

This is the area of my hull that has no reinforcing behind it. The rest of the hull is braced.

It seems to buckle either side on most waves. Not sure how to fix it without cutting an access panel in the deck and having a welder brace it from the inside..
