Well it's in the final stretch, only days away and as you can see I for one am very excited about this event and I should be.

I have enjoyed talking to many of you, some I know but many I look forward to meeting.
I am very happy with the numbers, we have over 70 people in our group including guests and that makes up almost 1/3 of the fishermen in this derby. [8D]
We have already raised $300.00 cash and a $1000.00 Certificate for marketing that will be presented @ Browns Bay to the Greenways Land Trust there charity that all the derby money goes to. [8D] http://www.greenwaystrust.ca
We will be doing a reverse draw for all those in our group attending and the winner will be taking home there very own $1500 Frog Boat thanks to Michael Reilly The Frog Boat Inventor who donated one for us to give away! http://www.onefrogtwo.ca
We also have some additional prizes for the Chumfest Derby within the derby.
Plus you have a chance to win in the Browns Bay Derby:
$500.00 for the largest chum
$400.00 for the second largest chum
$300.00 for the third largest chum
$250.00 for the largest aggrigate weight of 4 fish each day

Things to Remeber:
Thursday Nights Get Together (Early Bird Planning Session) will be at our 29' trailer right beside the Octagon Club House in Ripple Rock RV Park Starting @ 7pm or Earlier. Bring a lawn chair.
Friday Nights Meet and Greet and Planning Session will be held in the Octagon Club House in Ripple Rock RV Park starting around 7pm. Don't forget to bring some shareable snack food the BBQ's will be going.
Saturday Night Roast Beef Dinner starts at 6:00 pm @ the floating restaraunt don't be to late they want to wrap it up by 8:00pm. Remember to bring CASH no credit cards or bank cards will be excepted.
Saturday Nights after Dinner Get Together will be back up at the Octagon Club House and the Fire Pit (Weather Permitting) which is past the clubhouse just follow the road.

I feel sorry for the guys who get to to Witness ME and Noggin all Primed Up! I Still Laugh thinking about the Halibut Derby last Spring in Victoria when Noggin Chased Roe Bags with his fish BC hat around the red lion.
Wish i could make it to Browns this Year but it's not possible, maybe next. Good Luck, Im sure you'll have a Blast!
I forgot my name from last year, but I had a BLAST at last years Chum Derby, even though it pissed down the whole weekend, I actually had so much fun, I moved out to Campbell River... Yesterday, This year Ill be on my dads boat ( Much love to Bruce from White Wolf ) and we'll have another set of hands with my Older brother ( My Escape thats +3 <3 )
I dont how many others saw this Pod of Killer Whales go through, it was about 7:30-8am on Day 2 of the derby, yet again another reason I moved out here <3
