If memory serves - and sometime it don't - her late husband was a Canadian; besides, even if she was a Yank, I'd be first in line to pin the 'Order of Canada' on her. She's got more balls than most of us.

Morton at least has the freedom to express herself (being not employed by DFO).

It would be good if DFO scientists/researchers would also have this freedom.

Per haps somebody in Duncan's riding could brace him (at an all candidates meeting) on revoking the general gag order imposed on DFO employees.
