Bradley Smoker Steaming

I agree with adding chip thing but ive done something different i have a air tight wood stove plumbed "into" the hut I build a fire add the alder pieces and let her go about every 2 hours or so or until i dont see smoke coming out of it so really dont have to baby sit it sort of speak thats what i like about this venture its fun to experiment and learn new things plus i like the fact i can do ALOT... LOL
trust me i like the bradleys was even going to get one thought about it long but the price of it and the puck thing , wasnt my thing as have no clue whats in them and where they are made...
im more into knowing where things are made and whats put into it...

I have recently been removing thousands of small Alder trees. And was thinking of making my own pucks with these. They are the same size and the quantity is unlimited. Any thoughts? I also considerd when removing fruit trees to use the sawdust. If I where to mix water, flour and sawdust it would make great pucks using a cup cake pan. Then dry them out in the oven? What do you guys think? I just smoked through my last batch of store bought ones and thought there must be a cheaper alternative.

I´m in...pm me,when you get the kinks...:)

YES i have a dedicated chainsaw which runs just canola oil in it, thing is a little 20 cc poulan had to buy a new chain for it a few years back special order this tiny tooth chain as its really used for splitting moose with it and after 25 years of use and too many moose finally needed a new chain. its the cats butt never failed but I put fuel stabilizer in all my engines make a BIG diference..
