Bow Thruster Installation

I’m not at this stage yet but am looking in the US for a boat and want a bow thruster. Many boats don’t have them, so I will install one there before I ship up here if the boat doesn’t have one. I know the cost in Florida. Anybody know the cost here and if there’s a company that knows how to install them in Vancouver?

I saw one being installed at Lions Gate Marina In April but not sure who was doing it there.
I would contact Grant at Pleasurecraft Marine at LGM. If they don't do it he will know who does.

Might be out of Pcm's wheelhouse as there is extensive glass work required, perhaps contact Stuart's yachts? It will likely be 2 providers working together as in Stuart's for the glass work and pcm for the wiring etc.

thanks guys. Doesn’t sound like BC has a lot of experts in this field. I don’t want someone “learning” how to install one. Sounds like Florida Bow Thrusters might be the best choice. They do thousands of them a year for around $10K.

I saw one installed in under half an hour on Power Boat Television. Seemed suuuuper easy. Total DIY project.

one of the Sidney boatyards would be my suggestion too.
