Any one know of a marine mechanic in Winter Harbour? Blew a u-joint of gimbal bearing on our mercruiser alpha 1 gen 2.

I hope you find someone local, If not, Progressive Diesel in McNeill has boats and mobile mechanics who go into logging camps, etc. They work on gas as well.

If you could get to Coal Harbour or Port Alice on kicker [or a tow] you'd cut your costs a lot for having a mechanic come to your boat.

If we manage to get to Coal Harbour we’ll just load it up and fix it at home.

Managed to hitch a ride to Coal Harbour to go pick up the truck and trailer.

That sucks. I had to trailer my boat from Winter Harbour into Port Hardy last year to Stryker Marine & Electronics. They were helpful.
