If there are no soft spots in the floor, the stringers could be in good shape,

I wouldn't go that far...albeit I'm building an aluminum boat...it did have a wooden floor (at one point). That being said, the floor seemed solid and had no definitive soft spots. That was until I pulled up the floor. It came up in splintered pieces, and was completely waterlogged and rotted.The stringers were supporting the floor and made it seem more rigid than it actually was. Nearly all of the floor was rotted through. Just something to think about. I wouldn't say its solid until you have pulled it up.
