Hey greg i just got word that the marina got a beating on tuesday and a small powerboat sunk as well some of the breakwater broke apart. Your boat was on the outside finger is it ok? Whos sunk?

Hey Kelly, ya it was blowin NW and I went down to check my boat and there was a 16' Double eagle turtled and headed for the rocks. I went out and hooked on to him and managed to get it to the end of A dock and tied him up. Went back down a couple hours later and the guy was there with a little tin boat trying to tow it to the ramp so once again went out and hooked it up and towed it to the ramp for him. I guess he had just moored it and was planning to start fishing crabbing and prawning. Guess he'll have to start all over. All his gear was on his boat and now on the bottom. When are you on the Island? Are you gonna launch the bannana boat? BRS PS Heading out today for a troll and see if I can find my traps, I lost one set yesterday.
we crossed the straiat on the M/V Coho last tuesday am. she was taking water over the bow that was topping the wheel house!!!!!! some fool was inside ediz hook trying to make the ramp. every wave that hit his small boat was overtopping. i think his wife sent him out for fresh fish while she dusted off the life insurance policy.

Jeez thats to bad so it wasnt a regular? The marina is not protected that well from a big NW.Remember a few years ago when the marina actually started breaking up and boats were loose all over. Our friends 50fter broke off and was thrown up on the rocks 50,000$ later.
I am home friday-sunday and am launchin the bannana boat for a few days if you want to go for a fish. Let me know if anything is happening.

Greg i have some dive stuff. Was much lost? I wouldnt mind goin for a swim and picking it up for him.

I think most of his stuff washed up on the beach, I'll find out where his boat was tied up. He was supposed to drop off a case of pop for my trouble but haven't senn anything yet.BRS
