naw, doubt thats right - I saw the brief mention in EC at the end of the observation, but there was likely an error. The 3 hour gust chart on BWD put it at high 40 knots, it was predominantly SE wind so Ballenas would have been as intense but was only up to 42 knots, then sisters went up to 57 knots and Comox 49 knots (Chrome smack in the middle). I would say that like 100k note at the end was KM. There is no way it was blowing 170km there. Crazy enough it blew almost that on the west side of the island in friggin September!
