Big Chief Replacement Element

anyone on the mainland know where ta get a replacement big chief element , the Lower Mainland ,
one last batch of hot smoke eats for the summer hooligans comin my way.....

years ago i had a little chief element that went. I ended up using an electric briquet bbq element to get me by before i upgraded to a big chief.
something similar to this.

My brother ordered a new power cord for his from lure Jensen and it cost an arm and a leg for shipping.

If you do order from there, consider asking about shipping.

Somebody must sell them on the mainland. I got a new element for mine from capital iron in Victoria.

i took it all apart , and cleaned the contacts , stripped a bit of fresh wire ,
whala , bobs ur uncle , for the record , ive used a 50 foot extension cord for 20 years , no issues , 20 amp #12 wire ,
its a myth , i found no diff in performance , think of it as an extension off of a existing cct ,
proper cord is key imo

stores i found a few parts here , army n navy , sea-run fly & tackle Coquitlam,
cheapest is online , amazon around $20
