Best place to buy Fishing Gear in Seattle

Anybody have favourite spots in Seattle to buy fishing gear? Preferable down town or close to DT. Also, what about good chandlers?

Although not fishing centric REI has lots of great outdoor gear.

Outdoor Emporium which is off 4th ave. (practically in downtown) has everything you would ever need. Addres and phone number.............1701 4th Avenue South Seattle, WA 98134 (206) 624-6550. Sportco is the same company and has pretty much the same selection maybe even a bit more. They are about 30 minutes south of Seattle in Fife, WA. Hope this helps!

Outdoor Emporium is definitely worth a visit.

teds in lynnwood. sportco has changed hands so many times the inventory stinks. if you bass and pan fish, cabelas is your kind of place. try seattle marine for your chandlery needs. they also carry a pretty good assortment of terminal tackle as well as clothing geared for commercial use. the web sites for both of these places are useless, you have to visit to appreciate what they have in store.

If you want to catch a ferry or take a bit of a drive then I would definately check out the new Defiance store. Their in Bremerton.
