Starboard trim tab not working. Makes noise on both sides and port side works. Boat sat for about 4 years, any suggestions? Thanks in advance BRS

If you have noise from the hydralic pump then likely it is not the pump but either the actuator or the switch. Bennett offers life time servicing and a representative of Bennett answers questions on "The Hull Truth" website. He can likely help you diagnose the problem. Change around hoses at the pump... If the prob moves, its in the pump side, if the prob stays where it is, its your ram. Ive changed out a few rams because of this, however, If it is the ram, you can easily take it apart to see whats failed.. it may be a cheap fix. A new ram is only about 100$ though..

Hey IFL, switched the lines and now the other side works. So now I know both rams work. Got to read up on the other site to go further. BRS

ITs probably an actuator, and they can be bought seperately.

I checked the connection at the pump unit and it was faulty. Changed it and I'm good to go. Thanks everyone BRS
