MOVING FISHING GROUNDS TO BELLA BELLA OR MILBANK SOUND CENTRAL COAST. CAN ANYONE GIVE UP SOME SALMON AND HALI FISHING SPOTS. ONLY MAKE IT UP FOR 2 WEEKS IN LATE AUGUST. HAVE BEEN FISHING BERK SOUND OUT OF BELLA COLLA. THANKS FOR ANY INFORMATION

I was lucky enough to fish there two times last year. We had great success around the last week of July, first week of August. We fished Cheney point, and cultus sound for salmon with great success and offshore in millbanke sound for bottom fish. Excellent fishing around that time of year. We went down to Hakai pass and Spider island area but may have been to early as no one was around and we didn't have any luck.

The guys at shearwater were an excellent resource! Good fishing area, you will enjoy.

Thanks Jaws3D: I've fished the Burke Channel from Restoration Bay down thru the narrows and into Namu for the past 9 years. The caretakers at Namu bought their own land in Lizzi Cove, on the Llama passage. Will harbor up there next year but not real familiar with that area. Already looking forward to next Aug.

I'd try rigging up a silver and green (or black) Gibbs Minnow and find some fishy looking drop offs to drift jig along. You might not catch as many as others but the fight is as pure as it gets.
