BCHL/Amateur Hockey Playoffs!!!

I have become frustrated with the professional hockey league; NHL hockey has turned into an overpriced bunch of whiners. I’m starting this thread to bolster our local BCHL/WHL amateur hockey teams; these local teams/players need your continuing support, they work hard for your entertainment dollars…<o:p></o:p>

The Victoria Grizzlies are coming off an incredible come from behind win against Albernie Valley Bulldogs; down 3 - 1 in the series, they clawed their way back to tie the series. In the final game down 4 - 1 late in the 3rd they rallied to tie the game in the last minute of the period. In double overtime they snatched a hard fought victory; their hard work ethics & never say die style of hockey has won me over...
 
Last night they out paced the Paper Kings; a mainland team with a winning pedigree, 4 - 1 at the final buzzer, the Grizzles took the opening game of the series...:)

Get out there and support your local amateur home town heroes; it doesn't matter who they are, a full arena makes everyone happy...:)
 
Last night the Grizz totally dominated the Kings;5 - 0 was the final score,perhaps my heckling was a contributing factor...:)
 
I will be at the game tomorrow... Kings in 7 I would bet you my favorite lure on it but what would that prove.

BCHL is great hockey!

I won't be surprised if they return here for at least another game...then again it may be over in 4 games...:p
 
yes I just saw that on the news...apparently they didn't learn much from their series against Port... filling hometown seats only increases the owners bottom line.
Lots of goal scoring keeps the fans entertained...:)

We may attend the royal's game on Sunday. Lots of local hockey payoffs going on; tonight it's back to the Grzzlies,hope to see another fast paced game, with the grizz coming out on top!!
Got a special invite to ZZ TOP on Friday; boy it's going to be an action packed end to the week...:cool:
 
Sounds like the Kings struggled. Not many shots. $3,000 50/50 tonight in PR. If I win I'm getting myself a new rod.
 
$3,000 total it was $2,600 but a local logging company kicked in for the gaurentee $3,000 take home

Good luck next round they deserved the win tonight. Fun game to watch
